The hospitality Industry Gets Ready for Tourist Season with Comprehensive
Training Event and Job Fair
Be ready for the Olympic Peninsula’s expected significant influx of tourists this summer, Olympic Workforce Development, WorkSourceWA, Western Washington Career Path Services, and the
National Restaurant Association have come together to provide a comprehensive training event for the North Olympic Peninsula hospitality industry.
Scheduled to take place from May 1-5 at the Guy Cole Event Center in Sequim, the training event will offer a range of valuable training and certification opportunities for employees working in customer-facing roles. Participants will receive training in customer service, anti-harassment, unconscious bias, resume building, and more.
Additionally, those working in the food industry will have the opportunity to become ServSucess Certified Restaurant Professionals.
The event will culminate in a job fair for North Shore hospitality businesses, providing a platform for participants to showcase their newly acquired skills and connect with potential employers.
The HOSPITALITY JOB FAIR will take place on May 5, 2023, at 810 W Brackett Rd, Sequim, WA 98382, from 1 pm to 4 pm.
